RETAILING FOR JUST UNDER $50,000, ELON RENTS HIS TINY HOME…

Elon rents his little house from SpaceX, which is said to have only 37 square meters of living space and retails for somewhat less than $50,000.

Elon Musk made the decision to sell the majority of his assets at the beginning of 2020 in order to concentrate on constructing rockets, making electric cars, and running his other businesses. The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla has since sold all of his homes and relocated to a $50,000 rental home in Boca Chica, Texas, which is home to SpaceX’s testing and research facility.
Author Walter Isaacson, a former Time magazine editor, CNN president, and author of several biographies of notable figures, including Steve Jobs, Benjamin Franklin, Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci, and others, posted a picture of himself in the made-up home on August 7 on the personal page of Musk’s biographer. He also included an introduction to his upcoming book, Elon Musk.

According to a story by Isaacson, Musk made the decision to sell his five enormous residences in 2020 and move into this two-bedroom house in Boca Chica, Texas.

In a recent promotional video, the company implied that it was installing a Boxabl Casita “for a top-secret client,” but co-founder Galiano Tiramani has not formally acknowledged that Musk has moved into one of the properties. The creative design is quick to install on-site and folds up for convenient transportation, allowing for one-day setup.

The clever prefabricated building is apparently going to be put up near the Starbase launch location in Boca Chica, a hamlet in southern Texas. According to rumours, Elon’s little house, which retails for just under $50,000, is leased from SpaceX and is only 400 square feet in size.
The small floor plan is notable for fitting a lot of stuff into a little area. A spacious kitchen with a wraparound breakfast bar, a comfortable living room, a comfortable sleeping area and a sleek, modern bathroom make up the interior’s four components.

In this design, the bedroom space, which has a warm electric fireplace integrated into the wall, is divided from the living room by a creative room divider. Since Boxabl’s flat-pack home designs are adaptable, Musk is probably going to be able to customise the inside to his own taste.
While some small kitchens feature minimal appliances and minimal counter space, this one features a large fridge, oven, microwave, double sink, and dishwasher. White shaker cabinets and glass-fronted display cabinets provide storage for crockery and glassware.

The tiny home may not have room for a full dining set, but the kitchen countertop has been cleverly extended to create a breakfast bar for two. Located on a corner lot next to a major road, this is just one example of how this tiny home uses space intelligently.

Heating and air conditioning come standard, and every electrical outlet has a built-in USB plug – perfect for the tech-savvy. What’s more, thanks to the home’s advanced insulation and energy-saving technology, Boxabl says the home’s utility bill averages just $28 per month.

Located behind the living area, the bedroom also features some clever ways to make the most of its space. Two half-size wardrobes with hanging space have been built into the room divider’s countertop, while compact shelves and drawers are perfect for storing accessories and mementos.

In early 2020, Elon Musk made the decision to sell most of his possessions so he could focus on producing electric cars, building rockets, and managing his other business ventures. Since then, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO has sold all his mansions and moved to a $50,000 rental house in Boca Chica, Texas, where SpaceX’s development and testing site is located.
